In-Person for Women on Bainbridge Island, WA ✧ Telehealth Available for Washington residents
When Doing It All Becomes Too Much
You’ve built a life where people know they can count on you — at work, at home, in friendships, in volunteer roles. From the outside, it looks like you’re managing it all. But on the inside, you’re running on empty.
You daydream about disappearing or taking endless vacations.
You avoid phone calls or texts, certain someone will ask for something.
You feel resentment, guilt, and a constant low-level exhaustion.
You never really rest — even when you do, the to-do list circles in your mind.
You’ve carried the load because that’s what strong women do.
But somewhere along the way, strength turned into burnout.
You don’t need another item on your to-do list. You need your life back — space to breathe, energy for yourself, and the tools to finally live differently.
That’s what this intensive is for.
Why an Intensive Instead of Weekly Therapy?
Weekly therapy is valuable, but it often moves slowly. And if you’ve tried therapy before, you may have left with insight but little change — nodding along with your therapist, but still doing everything for everyone.
An intensive is different.
Focused time, faster results. Three-hour sessions let us go deep, break through resistance, and practice real skills in the moment.
Momentum that sticks. Meeting weekly for three extended sessions keeps you moving forward instead of losing steam between appointments.
Tangible, practical outcomes. You’ll leave with scripts, practices, and a clear boundary blueprint you can use immediately.
If you’re running on fumes, you don’t need months of circling the same ground. You need a reset.
What This Intensive Is
This is a three-session, deep-dive therapy experience for women who are tired of overfunctioning and ready to live differently.
Over the course of three 3-hour meetings, we’ll focus on:
Understanding What’s Driving You
This isn’t about blame — it’s about clarity. For years, you’ve been holding yourself to impossible standards and believing you had to keep saying yes in order to matter. Together, we’ll look gently at the rules and beliefs that keep you running on empty, and why they made sense at the time. Then we’ll uncover the hidden costs: your energy, your health, your joy. This part of the process helps you see that overfunctioning isn’t who you are — it’s something you’ve learned. And that means it can change.
Letting Go of the Approval Quest
Always trying to be liked, appreciated, or indispensable is exhausting. In this phase, you’ll learn how to stop giving so much power to other people’s opinions. We’ll practice what it feels like to hold your ground when someone pushes back, disagrees, or doesn’t understand. You’ll leave with real skills for handling discomfort without collapsing into guilt or second-guessing yourself. Instead of chasing everyone else’s approval, you’ll start building genuine respect for yourself.
Building a Life That Works for You
This is where things shift. You’ll get clear about your values and priorities — what actually matters most to you — and learn to organize your time and energy around them. You’ll practice saying no without apology, stop overexplaining, and use practical boundary scripts you can take right into daily life. By the end, you’ll have a “boundary blueprint” that shows you how to protect your time, energy, and relationships, while finally making room for rest, joy, and authenticity.
What You’ll Gain
Real relief: Imagine what it feels like to lay down the weight of guilt, resentment, and constant overwhelm — and know you don’t have to pick it up again.
Unshakable confidence: You’ll learn to say no without apology, and to hear no from others without spiraling into shame or self-doubt.
Tools that actually work: No vague advice — you’ll leave with concrete scripts, practices, and a personalized boundary blueprint you can put into action immediately.
A compass for your life: You’ll gain clarity about what matters most and the freedom to align your time, energy, and relationships with those priorities.
A new way of being: Instead of running endlessly on the hamster wheel, you’ll feel grounded, steady, and free to live in a way that feels authentic and sustainable.

After the Intensive
Some women leave the intensive ready to move forward on their own. Others continue with weekly, biweekly, or monthly sessions to keep practicing, building confidence, and deepening their progress.
This is where we might focus on:
Handling pushback, defensiveness, or guilt when limits are tested
Strengthening resilience so your changes stick over time
Navigating ongoing challenges with family or other complex relationships
Moving from communicating boundaries into taking consistent action on them
Developing advanced communication tools for dealing with especially difficult or draining people
Whether you continue for a short season or longer, ongoing therapy gives you a space to troubleshoot, stay accountable, and grow into the balanced life you’ve worked so hard to create.
“I know how exhausting it feels to hold everything together while running on empty. What I want you to know is that change is possible — you can create a life that’s grounded, balanced, and truly your own.”
You don’t have to keep living stretched thin, resentful, and drained.
With focused support, you can reset, reclaim your energy, and create a life that actually works for you.
If you’re ready to begin, start by completing the short questionnaire. From there, we’ll schedule a consult call and get your intensive on the calendar.
