How I Work
Therapy that helps you move forward, not just look back
At some point, life starts asking different questions. What used to work, how you cope, connect, or keep it all together, no longer fits. You may notice yourself feeling restless, disconnected, or unsure of who you are now.
Maybe you are in the middle of a major life shift and trying to find your footing. Maybe you are tired of doing everything for everyone and wondering how to live differently. Or maybe you keep finding yourself in the same kinds of relationships, even when you know you want something healthier.
Therapy with me is a space to pause, listen inward, and understand what is driving these patterns. We stay focused on the present, noticing how you think, react, and relate, and practicing new ways of living that feel steady, honest, and aligned with who you are becoming.
A partnership built on honesty and momentum
Our work is collaborative and active. You will talk, I will listen closely, and together we will make sense of what is happening beneath the surface. I will share what I notice and help you connect patterns that are ready to shift.
Sometimes we will laugh. Sometimes I will challenge you. Always, you will know why we are focusing on what we are focusing on.
Good therapy should help you understand yourself and give you the tools to live differently, not years from now but soon.
The framework I use
My work blends Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) with feminist, relational, and trauma-informed perspectives. In practical terms, that means we focus on three things:
Awareness – noticing the habits and beliefs that keep you stuck.
Choice – learning how to respond to stress and emotion without losing yourself.
Action – practicing new behaviors that align with what matters most to you.
We will explore both your inner and outer worlds: how stress lives in your body, how relationships mirror self-worth, and how perfectionism often hides fear. The goal is to move through life with confidence, balance, and ease.
What therapy with me often leads to
A calmer relationship with your thoughts and emotions
The ability to rest without guilt and act without panic
Clear priorities and decisions that feel aligned
Relationships that bring connection instead of tension
More capacity to enjoy life, not just manage it
The structure
Session length: 50 minutes
Format: Online therapy available now for women anywhere in Washington
In-person sessions: Opening on Bainbridge Island early 2026
Therapy intensives: Starting in 2026 for clients who want deep, focused work in a short timeframe
Whether you prefer ongoing sessions or a shorter, concentrated approach, we will find a rhythm that fits your goals.
Why this work matters
Sometimes clients come to therapy because everything has fallen apart. Sometimes they come because they want more from life: more calm, more depth, and more alignment between who they are and how they live.
Therapy is a place to practice clarity, courage, and self-respect until they become your natural way of being.
If you are ready to work through what has been weighing you down in a direct and supportive way, I would love to help you begin.
